Doug Shannon


Doug’s role at Realestimations is to develop operational tools, documentation and efficiencies. Doug assists the Directors to ensure service delivery standards are met and business opportunities are assessed and actioned appropriately.

Doug consults to agencies who are in the transactional period specifically for the management transfer stages – either buying or selling, to ensure they have expert assistance through this highly-detailed and often complex period.

Doug’s property career, locally and overseas, spanned 10 years. This was following on a further decade where Doug worked across industries and locations in sales and management, providing him extensive business knowledge and experience.

In 2012, Doug co-founded a real estate office in Perth’s CBD and until recently, worked as Director and Licensee. He changed from a selling agent in 2015 to concentrate on the operational needs of this growing and increasingly complex business. When Doug sold to his long-time business partner – and with its great culture, exceptional systems and phenomenal growth – their office was a standout within a franchise group and regarded as one of the best in Perth.

Doug’s experience and ability to adapt during an extremely difficult period in the market helped the office thrive and has given him an excellent understanding of production and operational priorities during various stages and structures of a real estate agency.
